What’s Obama’s Plan for Cleveland?

On the road! As Obama takes his economic agenda to Cleveland, what’s his plan for recovery … and will it help ground this rocky city?

Plus – you might not be quick to guess one of the contributing factors in the city’s unstable finances. Need a hint? He’s 6’8″ and a two-time MVP of the NBA. That’s right — he’s LeBron James, and here’s a little info on the impact the former Cavs star had on the city when he headed south into the Heat.

- With LeBron James, the Cavaliers pulled in $59 million a year from ticket sales, merchandise and concessions.

- Without LeBron James, the Cavs take shrinks to $39 million a year from ticket sales, merchandise and concessions.

- $84 million pumped into Cleveland’s economy every year because of the Cavaliers.

- $48 million of that goes to bars and businesses near the Quicken Loans Arena because of the Cavaliers.
