Westboro Baptist Church Plans to Protest Christina Green's Funeral

Gretchen Carlson just informed us of the Westboro Baptist Church’s newest plans to protest the funeral of the 9-year-old Christina Green. The organization has become infamous for picketing the funerals of fallen soldiers and homosexuals.

The church claims they will picket the funeral to honor the victims of the tragedy. But Gretchen says there is another local organization in Tucson, AZ called “The Angel Action” and they plan to counter-protest the Westboro Baptist Church, in a respectful and peaceful way.

The goal for the ‘Angels’ is to hold up giant 8-foot by 10-foot ‘angel wings’ to shield the family from the distasteful protestors. The ‘Angels’ said:

“I think our job is to allow the family to grieve properly and uphold the respect the family deserves” and “If we respond to that in kind with yelling, picketing or anger and everything everyone is feeling - then we only stand to make them stronger.”
