Police Chief Details Plot to Attack Fort Hood

Chief Dennis Baldwin of the Killeen, Texas Police Department held a news conference earlier detailing the plot to attack Fort Hood. He said that he anticipated federal charges will be filed against Naser Jason Abdo.

He assured the community that police are not aware of any additional safety threats. While the investigation continues, at this point police believe he acted alone and that military personnel were a target of this suspect.

Baldwin said “We would probably be here today giving you a different briefing, had he not been stopped.”
