VIDEO: Tea Partier Confronts Obama Over "Terrorist" Comments

Amid his three-day bus tour of the Midwest, President Obama had an encounter with the founder of the Tea Party in Iowa, Ryan Rhodes.

Rhodes confronted the president over comments reportedly made by Vice President Joe Biden calling the Tea Party terrorists. President Obama responded to Rhodes, clarifying that Biden was insinuating that for the Tea Party lawmakers to be willing to take the economy to the brink of default was irresponsible. As Rhodes continued to press the president, Obama said, "It doesn't seem like you're interested in listening." In the background of the video, one Obama supporter is heard shouting "Stay strong!" to the president.

Ed Henry reported that President Obama did speak to Rhodes off camera, as he didn't want to interrupt greeting and shaking hands with other Americans. Brian Kilmeade said that while he considered the interaction civil and commended the president for engaging Rhodes, former Bush Press Secretary Dana Perino disagreed, telling Greta Van Susteren that the way Rhodes spoke to the president was lacking in decorum.

Gretchen expressed concern over how the episode will be played out in the mainstream media and potentially misconstrued as an example of the Tea Party attacking the president. Watch the conversation and let us know what you think!
