Democrat Maxine Waters Slams Obama on Jobs, Says She and Supporters Are "Getting Tired"

Former Congressional Black Caucus Chairwoman and California Rep. Maxine Waters took a stand in remarks on Wednesday in which she challenged President Obama's lack of jobs creation and clear direction for the economy.

Waters seemed to tell the crowd that while she and the caucus support the president, their supporters need just say the word and she will "let go."

"The Black Caucus loves the president, too. We're supportive of the president. But we're getting tired, though ... What we want to do is give the president every opportunity to show what he can do and what he's prepared to lead on," she said, "but our people are hurting; the unemployment is unconscionable. We don't know what the strategy is."

The congresswoman continued, saying that she and her fellow lawmakers are trying to do the best they can and are listening to the voice of the people. "We're trying to do the best thing and the right thing. When you tell us it's time to let go, we'll let go."
