Will Michaele Salahi Be Left Penniless After Running Off With Journey Guitarist Neal Schon?
Tareq and Michaele Salahi, better known as the 'White House Party Crashers,' made headlines last week when Tareq Salahi reported his wife had been kidnapped. As it turns out, Michaele Salahi ran off with the guitarist from legendary 80s band, Journey.
Tareq soon after filed for divorce, but it could be Michaele who's singing a sad tune before long, because the couple’s prenup leaves her with nothing if it's found she committed adultery. She also loses all rights to spousal support if she moves out of their house.
Could this actually be upheld in a court of law? Former prosecutor, Arthur Aidala says it can. As long as when the Salahis' prenup contract was executed she wasn’t under any duress or threats, and her own attorney could look at it. Criminal defense attorney Joey Jackson disagrees, saying this is something called unconscionability. He argues that Tareq would end up being unjustly enriched.
Most recent reports are saying that Michaele is now trying to turn her new life with the Journey guitarist into a reality TV show and her soon to be ex-husband will be willing to ‘play along’ if the price is right.
