Monday on Fox and Friends, Trump talked about GOP candidate Herman Cain, who is coming to meet with him today, saying Cain should be very proud of himself and his rise in the polls. Trump said, “I look forward to meeting him. He just seems like a really nice guy and a good character to me.”
Trump’s met with several of the GOP candidates thus far, but when asked which one is emerging as the most impressive candidate, he declined to pick one just yet. He said, “I’ve been impressed differently with all of them. I look forward to meeting Herman Cain today. And, I’m honored that they come to Trump Tower.”
Trump also said that he doesn’t think that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will enter the race given how late in the game it is.
He also discussed the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ protests, which have spread across the country, saying that while some of the protesters are very serious, “others are down there having a good time, and they’re looking for dates.”
