Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice joined Sean Hannity Tuesday night to talk about her new book “No Higher Honor” and to address the role race plays in American politics.
Hannity asked Rice if she believed that race played a role in revelation of sexual harassment charges against Herman Cain. Rice said that when you go into the political arena, particularly a presidential race, you expect these types of attacks. She asserted, “I don’t like to play the race card on either side. I’d like to give us more credit than that.”
When Hannity pressed, saying that 90% of African Americans tend to vote Democrat and those who vote conservative often receive heavy criticism, Rice said, “I would say to people who think that blacks have to think a particular way, you’re the one who is actually prejudiced.”
