As the GOP candidates fight to win over voters in the southern states, President Obama is trying to win over Ohio, he’s visited the state 17 times since entering office.
Earlier on Your World, Governor John Kasich discussed how Ohio voters are feeling about the 2012 presidential candidates. He said, “I think the sense in Ohio, among a lot of people, are things are getting better, but it hasn’t hit everybody.” He went on to say that they are very nervous about the economy and job security.
When it comes to the infighting going on between the GOP candidates, Kasich said he doesn’t like to see Republicans beating each other up over the issues and feels they need to be careful with what they say.
Kasich said he doesn’t anticipate to endorse any GOP candidates before the Ohio primary, but “ultimately I’m going to be for the Republican nominee that can talk about job creation and on helping Ohio to create jobs.”
