Vice President Joe Biden recently stated that he advised the president not to pursue the mission to kill Usama bin Laden. The Five wondered why the vice president chose to make these comments now and whether or not it’s a security risk for the Obama administration to discuss the raid with the public.
Greg Gutfeld said, “This is probably one of the greatest achievements of [Obama’s] administration and I don’t think he’s milking it. I think that he used the military in the State of the Union as a way to get people behind his bureaucracy, which I had a problem with.”
Dana Perino’s message to Vice President Biden is “save it for your book.” She defended him saying he provided good counsel to the President, but questioned why he’s talking about it at all. While they all agreed that he said it in order to make President Obama stand out as a strong leader, they differed when it came to the issue of security concerns.
