Moments ago, President Obama announced a new plan to require full contraception insurance coverage for female employees at religiously affiliated institutions.

Obama made clear that all religious affiliated institutions will not be forced to offer contraception coverage to employees. Now, insurers will be required to give complete coverage free of charge to all women who work under religious employers.

During his speech, the president urged politicians not to use the complicated matter as a wedge issue.
