Italian Prosecutors Are Attempting to Send Amanda Knox Back to Jail
Only four months after American college student Amanda Knox was granted her freedom by an Italian court, prosecutors are trying to send her back to prison. As you remember, Knox had been convicted of murdering her roommate while studying abroad.
Rick Folbaum reports that this legal maneuver is the last option prosecutors have in the case.
They want Italy’s highest criminal court to reverse the ruling that freed Knox. The court is expected to rule on this toward the end of the year.
Knox hasn’t spoken out much since her release, but there are reports that she has been meeting with publishers about a possible book deal.
