PA Judge Dismisses Own Parking Tickets, Arrested for Tampering and Obstruction Charges
Pennsylvania District Judge Kelly Ballentine has been moved from the bench and charged with numerous criminal defenses for allegedly dismissing a bunch of traffic tickets she had received.
Trace Gallagher reports that after she didn’t pay the tickets for 30 days the court summoned her, but instead of just paying the fines she dismissed the summons herself by logging into the court computers.
She is now accused of three counts of conflict of interest, six counts of tampering with public records and three more counts of obstructing the administration of law, with fines could total up to $140,000.
