'Heart Attack Grill' Owner Defends Restaurant, Calling It a 'Place Where You Can Live How the Founding Fathers Intended'
Earlier this week, we brought you the story of a man who experienced a medical collapse at Las Vegas's Heart Attack Grill after eating the enormous 'Triple Bypass Burger.' Now, an anti-meat advocacy group is calling for the restaurant to close up shop for putting consumers in harm's way. The Grill's owner Jon Basso, however, disagrees, saying that what we eat and are allowed to eat is what makes us culturally unique.
"What it's all about is a place where you can live in a way our founding fathers intended us to live, and that is
by our own accord, without encroachment by any busy-body groups or governmental agencies who are trying to tell us what to do."
Do you agree with Basso, or with those calling for the Grill to be shut down? Let us know.
