Political Grapevine: D.C. Politicians Banned From Using Profanity

A dilapidated house in Detroit is causing problems for a neighbor because it’s considered a fire risk. But, one congressman isn’t making too many promises on getting it cleaned up. Watch the video captured when one local reporter spoke with the politician about the issue.

And, the District of Columbia Council has vowed to clean up its language, as its members are now banned from using profanity during public meetings. The new restrictions took effect after two members got into a profanity-laced verbal brawl during a retreat.
