Should Solyndra Employees Receive Bonuses?

There’s a hearing underway over bonuses for Solyndra workers. Solyndra lawyers spent the day trying to convince bankruptcy judges that bonuses would be good for company morale, but what about the taxpayer money that bailed the company out?

Today on Your World, Louisiana Congressman Steve Scalise (R) discussed what he thinks should be done, saying, “What Solyndra ought to do is go and give the money back to the taxpayer before they go out and give big bonuses to their employees.”

He believes this is an example of the problem with Obama’s ideas on crony capitalism, “where Obama gives money to his friends and figures the government can bailout any company.” He continued to say that Solyndra is not the future, like they’ve said all along.

“The president talks a good game, yet his policies contradict it.”
