Charles Gasparino Challenges Newt Gingrich on How He Came Up With $2.50 Gas Price
Small business owner, David McArthur asked Newt Gingrich how he plans on getting gas prices down to $2.50 per gallon. Gingrich responded that there are three things that can be done: sign the Keystone pipeline, reopen the Louisiana/Texas Gulf area, and reopen already existing areas in Alaska.
Fox Business Network’s Charles Gasparino pressed Gingrich on exactly how he reached the number of $2.50, saying it sounded like he “pulled it out of the air.”
Gingrich defended himself saying that number “came from talking to experts in the oil industry.”
