Geraldo Rivera Reports on the U.S. Mission in Kandahar, Afghanistan
The mission in Afghanistan has hit some rough patches with the Koran burning incident and the alleged mass murder of Afghan civilians by Sgt. Robert Bales, but the U.S. military is trying ensure a future for the Afghan people. U.S. Special Ops have started working with tribal elders who are manning a local police force to fight the Taliban. The commander, Lt. Col. Rick Navarro, spoke to Geraldo Rivera about this task force and how they will maintain order and bring a quality of life to the people of Afghanistan once the U.S. withdraw from the country.
