GSA Scandal Continues to Grow; Emails Expose Jeff Neely Bragging About Traveling on the Taxpayers’ Dime
Shepard Smith reported Jeff Neely, the GSA official at the center of the spending scandal, took five trips (totaling 44 days) to various locations all over the world and all at the taxpayers’ expense. He noted that Neely took these trips even after the agency’s inspectors warned the GSA about its abuses.
In an email to Neely’s wife, he boasted that a 17-day trip to the South Pacific would be her birthday gift. The wife replied, “Its yo birthday....We gonna pawty like iz yo birthday!”
Mike Emanuel said on Fox Report that “as early as March this year, as recently as a month ago, he kept traveling on the taxpayer dime. Bottom line is the GSA inspector general says it was the magnitude of the problem.”
