FBI Digging Up Basement of Handyman in Etan Patz Case
The FBI is continuing its investigation of a New York City boy who disappeared in 1979. Six-year-old Etan Patz went missing while walking to school alone for the first time and today officials are searching a Manhattan basement near his parents’ home. After vanishing, he became the first missing child to have his face on a milk carton.
Anna Kooiman reported that the FBI and NYPD are working together to investigate the basement of a handyman who lived there during the time Patz disappeared. They’re using jackhammers to rip up the concrete of the basement. The now 75-year-old handyman, Othniel Miller, has hired an attorney
who told the media that his client has no involvement in this case.
