Did John Edwards Commit an Actual Crime?

As the deliberations continue in the John Edwards trial, some are asking if the former presidential candidate committed an actual crime.

This morning on Fox and Friends, Peter Johnson, Jr. weighed in on this case. He said the Edwards defense team is saying this crime was invented because it has never been charged before in American politics. He broke down both sides of the case.

If Edwards is convicted, Johnson thinks Cheri Young’s testimony would get credit for the conviction saying her statement was compelling and sympathetic. He said there will be an appeal if he’s convicted.

Johnson believes we may have a verdict today in this case.
