Man Breaks Into Topeka TV Station WIBW, Stabs Two Employees
Two employees at television station WIBW in Topeka, Kansas were stabbed by a man who broke into the building. Trace Gallagher reports that a couple of weeks ago, the man called the news director and asked that the station cover the fact that he felt as though he was being mistreated by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The news director refused, and yesterday, the man stormed into the TV station, shattering a glass door in order to get inside. He began punching employees, a group of whom were able to tackle him to the ground. The suspect was then able to pull a knife out of his pocket, stabbing two employees.
He is now being evaluated for psychological problems.
