Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Kleefisch Says She’s “Cautiously Optimistic” About Tonight’s Recall
Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch (R-WI) is the very first lieutenant governor to race a recall and tonight she joined Hannity as the election results come in. She told Sean Hannity that she is “cautiously optimistic” but the voter turnout has been extraordinary. She said, “In some precincts we know that they are over 100 percent, that’s how many new voters they are signing up.”
Kleefisch described what this process has been like, saying, “I think that for our state this has been
a moment of character building. We have endured so much all together and I think tonight we will come out stronger for it. We know that we have a very passionate electorate on both sides of the aisle, but hopefully when we wake up tomorrow we’re going to be focused on creating jobs together and we’re going to put this recall behind us.”
