Video: 91-Year-Old WWII Veteran Receives High School Diploma

A World War II veteran who fought in the Battle of the Bulge and at Normandy finally received the high school diploma he earned 71 years ago. Denver Kelly attended Ohio’s Oberlin High School in 1941, but he was deployed with the Army before he could walk in the graduation ceremony. The 91-year-old accepted his diploma and spoke at this year’s graduation. Kelly joked during his speech, “I wonder
