Residents Forced to Evacuate as Wildfires Spread Across Colorado; Record Flooding in Florida, Alabama
Wildfires in Colorado have spread across 8,000 acres and continue to grow. As firefights battle to put them out, dozens of building have been scorched and some residents have been forced to evacuate. It’s also believed that some people may be missing.
Flooding in Pensacola, Florida and Mobile County, Alabama has turned roads into rivers. Cars are submerged and people have no choice but to stay in their homes. Meteorologist Rick Reichmuth reported that there have been between 13 and 18 inches of rain in one day
in Pensacola, and up to 15 inches in Mobile County which was recently experiencing drought conditions. The rain continues across the south and will get very heavy at times.
