Hospital in Buffalo, NY on Lockdown After Fatal Shooting, AP Reports

Police have reportedly cordoned off the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY where a person has been fatally shot. According to a police spokesperson, SWAT teams are on the scene, and local media reports say that it was a woman who was shot to death in the incident that took place around 8:15 this morning.

The shooter supposedly remains at large; the hospital houses 400 patients at any given time, and 2,000 employees work there in total.
