Sports 'Phanatic': Woman Sues After Claiming Phillies Mascot Threw Her Into a Hotel Pool

Well, the mascot of the Philadelphia Phillies is at the center of a new lawsuit ... and it has fans of the big league team in an uproar. The furry green Phanatic was hired to appear at a wedding party that was taking place at the Jersey Shore. It was that he allegedly picked up a woman, threw her into the hotel swimming pool, and left her injured; the woman claims she now has to walk with a cane.

The Phillies, however, are standing by the mascot ... for now. A lawsuit is pending.
