VIDEO: Obama Heckled During Address on Immigration Policy Changes, 'Daily Caller' Reporter Asks Why He "Favors Foreign Workers Over Americans"

In remarks given Friday afternoon, the president addressed changes to the nation's immigration policy that would grant certain children of illegal immigrants immunity.

President Obama defended the decision, saying that these young people are the same ones who 'play in our schools, with our children, and pledge allegience to the same flag,' and are Americans in 'every single way except one - on paper.'

During the address, a Daily Caller reporter named Neil Munro shouted a question at the president (scroll to around 4:30 in the video), asking, "Mr President, why do you favor foreign workers over Americans?"

The president stopped his remarks to respond, asking the

man to let him finish and saying, "Excuse me sir, it's not time for questions ... not while I'm speaking."

But the exchange didn't stop there. Obama later (at around 7:10 in the video) returned to the reporter's question, saying sternly, "In response to you sir, and next time I ask you to wait until I'm finished, this is the right thing to do." The reporter interrupted yet again, prompting the president to say, "I didn't ask for an argument. Here is the reason..."

He went on to explain that he believes it's not okay to treat the specified young illegals as expendable and that it "makes no sense to expel talented young people" who are essentially Americans. He says he was taking the action in the absence of action by Congress "to fix our broken system."
