AUDIO: Jail Phone Calls Between George Zimmerman and His Wife Revealed
Just-released audio reveals a conversation between George Zimmerman and his wife when he was in jail. The calls were recorded shortly after Zimmerman was arrested for the death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Prosecutors say that these recordings reveal that Zimmerman and his wife lied to the court about how much money they actually had.
In one exchange, prosecutors say the Zimmermans can be heard discussing transferring money from George Zimmerman’s defense fund into wife Shellie Zimmerman’s personal account, and clearly shows the Zimmermans were being dishonest and deceptive.

As reported on FoxNews.com, the former neighborhood watch volunteer also told his wife to buy bulletproof vests for them and for his attorney, according to jailhouse calls released Monday.
"As uncomfortable as it is, I want you wearing one," George Zimmerman told his wife. Zimmerman was wearing a bulletproof vest when he left jail after posting bond. His attorney, Mark O'Mara, has reported receiving threats.
