Donald Trump Calls President Obama’s Immigration Move “Political”
On Friday, President Barack Obama eased enforcement of immigration laws, offering a chance for hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants to stay in the country and work.
Business tycoon Donald Trump weighed in on this morning’s Fox and Friends. While Trump acknowledged that immigration is a big problem and that something needs to be done about it, he said, "This was not the right move, this was a political move. You have to come up with a permanent solution, and we also have to secure our borders.”
Trump added, “For people that have been here for years that have been hard workers, have good jobs, are supporting a family, it’s very, very tough to just say, ‘By the way, you know, 22 years, you have to leave, get out.’”
Trump believes that Gov. Mitt Romney will come up with a permanent solution to the immigration problem in America.
