President Obama Goes to Florida … Again; Dick Morris Makes a Prediction on Who Will Be Romney’s Running Mate
As President Obama visits Florida for the 16th time, some on the Republican side are wondering whether Mitt Romney needs to start being more aggressive in capitalizing on the president’s political liabilities. Fox News contributor Dick Morris said on The O’Reilly Factor that this has been a great month for Romney and a terrible month for the president. He said it is Romney’s “job to not be threatening, not be strident and not get in the way of Obama losing all the votes he’s losing.”
Morris continued, “What I want to comment on really is Obama being in Florida for a fundraiser, about the 170th I think that he’s done, more than all other presidents
combined. This guy is facing a serious financial problem … I believe when all is said and done, this means that in September and October Romney will have two to three times the financial resources that Obama does. That’s going to be very important.”
Currently Romney is down by 40 percent nationally among Latino voters. Morris said this could be a catastrophe for Romney and predicted that he will name Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) as his running mate.
