Caught on Camera: Violent Attempted Purse Robbery in Lynn, Massachusetts
This bold attack happened right in front of a liquor store in Lynn, Massachusetts where you can see the suspect was waiting for someone to pounce on.
In the video from the surveillance camera, the female purse snatcher walks right up to the other woman and throws her down. During all the commotion, she was actually able to hold onto her purse. Eventually, the suspect ran off empty-handed, and police think she may have gotten into a car and driven away.
Thankfully, the victim was okay and only had a few bumps and bruises.
Although this attack took place in early May, police say their leads have all dried up. They released this video in hopes that someone out there knows who this woman is and can help them track her down.
