President Barack Obama will kick off a two-day bus tour of the key swing states of Ohio and Pennsylvania on Thursday.
During the trip, which the campaign dubbed the "Betting on America" tour, Obama will talk about his efforts over the last three years to get the economy back on track.
A statement from the Obama campaign said the President will also talk about the "choice in this election - whether we want to grow our economy from the middle out, not the top town."
While the campaign claimed Obama is "rebuilding an economy meant to last," it said Republican rival Mitt Romney "believes in an economy built from the top down and supports the same policies that crashed our economy."
Obama won both Ohio and Pennsylvania in the 2008 election, and the states could be crucial to his chances of remaining in the White House.
A recent Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll showed Obama leading Romney by 45 percent to 41 percent in Ohio and by 47 percent to 38 percent in Pennsylvania.
