Here's how the job picture under Obama stacks up:
1980: Average job growth in first six months was minus 96,000. President Jimmy Carter lost.
1992: Average job growth in first six months was 63,000. President George H.W. Bush lost.
2012: Average job growth in first six months was 150,000. President Obama running for reelection.
2004: Average job growth in first six months was 197,000. President George W. Bush won.
1996: Average job growth in first six months was 240,000. President Bill Clinton won.
1984: Average job growth in first six months was 375,000. President Ronald Reagan won.
