Santita Jackson on Her Brother Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr.'s Health
Sister of Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. and Fox News Contributor, Santita Jackson, appeared in a segment on Hannity tonight. Before discussing Mitt Romney at the NAACP Convention, Sean Hannity said to Jackson, “I know there’s been, even tonight, there’s conflicting reports about your brother, Congressman Jackson. And first of all, from our standpoint, my standpoint, I hope he’s okay.”
Tonight the congressman’s office released a statement in which it said that he was being treated for a mood disorder. Hannity asked her if there is any update she can give on her brother’s situation. Jackson
thanked people for their support and said, “I think the first thing that our family wants to do is protect his privacy.”
She didn’t add much further detail, but said, “I think what we have to do is dial everything back and just give him the grace of space so that he can get well."
