NASA Video About Landing Next Rover on Mars Goes Viral
A new video featuring engineers talking about how NASA will land the next rover on Mars has gone viral. The video, which has half a million hits on YouTube already, focuses on the rover’s scheduled landing on August 5. The $2.5 billion mission is to see if the building blocks of life – oxygen, nitrogen, carbon – actually existed on early Mars.
"We've got literally seven minutes to get from the top of the atmosphere to the surface of Mars -- going from 13,000 miles an hour to zero." said Tom Rivellini, one of the engineers featured in the video, of the mission.
