Donald Trump Blasts Obama’s Remarks on Small Businesses: 'People Should Be Rewarded for Being Good Entrepreneurs, Not Scoffed At'
There’s big blowback from business leaders to President Obama’s comments about the government’s role in the success of American business owners. Donald Trump joined the discussion on America’s Newsroom and said that these comments reflect greatly on the president’s philosophy toward entrepreneurship.
Trump asserted, “People should be rewarded for being good entrepreneurs, not scoffed at.”
Trump commented on what it takes to achieve success in America, saying, “There always has been a little bit of an element of luck – if you are born smart, you’re born with a good IQ, you’re born intelligent, you’re born in the United States – I consider that to be a great stroke of luck – so there’s always luck involved, and that’s a different kind of a thing than what he’s talking about. I think he’s going right down to the nitty-gritty of entrepreneurism.”
