DNC Apologizes for Attack Ads Using Ann Romney’s Therapy Horse
There's a new controversy over an attack ad from the Democratic National Committee using Ann Romney’s horse in an effort to mock Mitt Romney and his wealth. Mrs. Romney has multiple sclerosis and horseback riding is an important part of her physical therapy. The DNC has now apologized and will pull the ad after Mrs. Romney said she was offended on Good Morning America Thursday.
Chris Stirewalt, digital politics editor for Foxnews.com, says that this shows Ann Romney has power in the campaign
: "I think Ann Romney is going to continue to be very popular, she’s going to continue to be very well-liked and she’s going to continue to be a big asset for her husband.”
Megyn Kelly points out that the ad did not have Ann Romney in it, so was the Romneys’ response warranted? Watch the video and tell us what you think!
