Movie Theater Shooting Victims' Identities Released By Arapahoe County Coroner's Office

The 12 victims' names who died in Friday's shooting have been released by the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office and are listed below. Now, the stories of the victims from the movie theater shooting are beginning to emerge. The youngest, a six-year-old girl named Veronica Moser-Sullivan was killed. Her mother, 25-year-old Ashley Moser remains in critical condition with a bullet in her throat and abdomen.

John Larimer, a United States Navy sailor, was one of the victims killed. His family released a statement: "Last night about midnight, a Navy notification team arrived at our house to let us official know that our 27-year-old, son, John, was in fact one of the 12 killed at the theater in Aurora, Colorado.”

Alex Sullivan, who was a husband, brother and son had planned to ring in his 27th birthday

by watching the new Batman movie and was to celebrate his first wedding anniversary this Sunday. He was killed on his birthday in Friday’s shooting massacre. His father's agony was captured in an image seen around the world.

24-year-old blogger and aspiring sportscaster Jessica Ghawi was killed in the shooting after recently writing about surviving a mall shooting in Canada. Her brother Jordan spoke to Greta Van Susteren last night. He said, “We’ll have those memories; that can never be taken away. A coward with a rifle can never take away the 24 years that my family had with my sister.”

There is a planned vigil set for tomorrow evening for all 12 victims killed. Their names are are:

Jesse E. Childress (1/5/1983)

Alex M. Sullivan (7/20/1985)

Gordon W. Cowden (11/17/1960)

Micayla C. Medek (5/5/1989)

Alexander C. Teves (6/1/1988)

One additional victim, Matthew R. McQuinn (3/26/1985), has been presumptively identified, but is awaiting definitive identification. The 27-year-old died while shielding his girlfriend from the gunfire.
