Actress Eva Longoria Lays Out the Case for President Obama’s Reelection
Now that the hit series Desperate Housewives has come to an end, Hollywood actress Eva Longoria is taking on a new role – supporter and fundraiser for President Obama’s reelection campaign.
On Fox and Friends this morning Longoria described her role as national co-chair for the campaign, saying that she goes out and speaks to voters, particularly Latinos and women, about the president’s record and accomplishments. Longoria said that what she fears most is voter apathy and suggested that Americans “really look at the candidates.
If you like what Mitt has to offer and you think he has a better plan … really, it’s just about two different choices. It’s two fundamentally different ideologies.”
She continued, “The choices are very clear for me, for a lot of people in the Latino community.”
