Young Girls Explain to Fox and Friends How They Became Self-Made Business Owners, and Why They Think Obama's Small Business Remarks Were "Rude"
Earlier in the month, President Obama made remarks about small businesses in Virginia, saying, “If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” Now, two sisters, who built their own lemonade business, are telling Fox and Friends that they beg to differ with the president’s statement!
The founders of Cool Blast Lemonade, sisters: Clara, 7, and Eliza Sutton, 4, sat down with Brian Kilmeade today to explain why they don’t agree. Clara said, “I would say that’s rude because we work very hard to build this business, but we did have help.”
She explained that the only help they received in building Cool Blast Lemonade was from their investors: their dad, step mother, brother and other friends and family.
Of their lemonade, Clara said, “Our lemonade is actually homemade, but I can’t tell you our recipe because it's proprietary … the investors actually signed a confidentiality agreement.”
Kilmeade was very impressed with their business acumen and asked if there was an application that he could fill out to apply for a job, to which they replied, "I don’t know but that’s something you’d have to ask our father though.”
