911 Audio: Possible Shark Attack in Waters of North Carolina

A new dramatic 911 call was received of a possible shark attack in the waters of North Carolina. Witnesses say that the young boy recalled seeing something that was the size of his arm swimming between his knees before he felt it bite him. After the accident, the child’s aunt made the 911 call.

On the tape, she said, “I don’t know if my nephew has been bitten by something

, he has a huge gash in his leg … It’s a big, deep gash. Might be a shark, possibly.”

The first responders said that he may have gotten bitten by something smaller than a shark, perhaps a bluefish.
