Bill O'Reilly Calls Out CNN's "Culture of Liberalism"

In an anti-Sarah Palin display, CNN played the song “Stupid Girls” by the artist Pink prior to a story about Palin posting a picture of herself and her husband at Chick-fil-A. After recognizing the mistake, CNN spokeswoman Christa Robinson issued an apology which stated, “The music selection was a poor choice and was not intended to be linked to any news story.” Bill O’Reilly asked on The O’Reilly Factor, “Then why was it used before a news story?”

O’Reilly said he took umbrage with the statement for saying the song wasn’t intended to be linked to a news story. Fox News contributor Bernie Goldberg weighed in, “They could’ve picked anything and they pick ‘Stupid Girls’ and they have the nerve

to tell us … it was unintentional.”

Goldberg said, “CNN and other news organizations expect politicians to tell the truth, they expect business people to tell the truth … and they issue a statement like this?” He went to say, “I’m guessing the people who watch them don’t like Sarah Palin all that much anyway, which is why they did it and thought like the old days that they could get away with it.”

O’Reilly theorized, “That means to me, number one, there’s the culture of liberalism in play at CNN because they did that. And number two, there’s no supervision.”
