Report: GSA Paid an Additional $30 Million in Undisclosed Bonuses
There are new allegations of overspending by the GSA just as a Congressional hearing on the agency’s waste of taxpayer dollars gets underway. A new report has found that the agency handed out $30 million in unreported bonuses.
Rep. Jeff Denham spoke to Bill Hemmer prior to the start of the hearing, saying that 77 conferences have been held by the GSA after the president put an executive order in place to stop them. Denham said that the GSA is
pulling from different areas to hide this spending. He said, “The transparency that the president and the administration continues to talk about is a whole shell game where they’re hiding money and waste in government in many different pots of money.”
