Comedian Will Ferrell: Tax Rate Should Be 75 Percent
The latest comedian to chime in and pontificate about politics was Will Ferrell. After he was asked about whether or not tax increases would help Americans, he said, “I think that I would actually raise the taxes about 75 percent.”
A discouraged Bob Beckel weighed in, saying, “75 percent is too high,” but said that he was taken aback that the reporter actually believed Ferrell’s joke.
Eric Bolling asked, “Can we keep comedy and politics separate?” He went on to say that he wants the comedians to stay funny and to try not to weigh in on taxes and the First Amendment.
What do you think? Should comedians keep their political opinions to themselves?
