Herman Cain on Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day: "Hip Hip Hooray for Free Speech!"

Massive crowds turned out yesterday in support of Chick-fil-A restaurants after the fast food chain came under fire because CEO Dan Cathy recently spoke out against gay marriage. Many say Cathy was just exercising his First Amendment right to free speech.

Herman Cain joined America’s Newsroom and didn’t hide his excitement about Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day, saying, “Hip hip hooray for free speech!”

Cain proclaimed, “I am thrilled that the American people voted with their feet and they went to Chick-fil-A to say they will not be bullied by politicians or threats. And so this was a huge public statement on behalf of free speech and free choice.”
