VIDEO: Man Bullies Chick-fil-A Drive-Thru Employee on 'Appreciation Day'
A videotape of a man confronting a drive-thru employee at Chick-fil-A on what became known as Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day has gone viral.
In the video, the angry "customer" asks the employee for "free water" before launching into a tirade.
"You know why I'm getting a free water, right? ... Because Chick-fil-A is a hateful corporation," he told the employee, apparently named Rachel.
However, how Rachel
managed to maintain her poise throughout the confrontation was impressive. "I disagree," she calmly told the man. "We don't treat any of our customers differently, we don't discriminate..." The customer then cuts her off, saying, "I know, but you know the corporation gives money to hate groups, right? Hate groups."
Rachel expressed her concern with the fact that the customer was videotaping her, to which he responded that he understood ... before continuing. "I don't know how you live with yourself and work here; I don't understand it. This is a horrible corporation with horrible values."

Rachel remains silent as he finishes, then asserts, "We're here to serve you in any way that you need," even as the angry customer continues with his rant, saying, "you deserve better; you deserve better, Rachel..."
Not swayed into matching his tone, she calmly tells him that she 'hopes he has a really nice day.' Indignant, he replies, "I will; I just did something really really good. I feel purposeful. Thank you so much," quickly adding, before driving away, "I'm a nice guy, by the way, and I'm totally heterosexual, not a gay in me."
