Before-and-After Photos: "Tanning Mom" Gives Up Orangey-Bronze Glow to Go (More) Natural
The woman who rose to ... well ... notoriety for her frequent tanning and distinctly "orangey-bronze" skin color has given up the tanning bed. Kind of.
Patricia Krentcil, of New Jersey, stopped the habit after agreeing to do a photo shoot with celeb magazine InTouch weekly. However, Krentcil didn't exactly go cold turkey, admitting that she used some tanning creams and spray-on products. And she still thinks she looks a little "weird" and "kind of pale."
In a memorable interview, Krentcil told a reporter that she was born to be tan. "I was born on Long Island, and I grew up on the beach; I've always been tan."
