Former Stepmother of Wisconsin Shooting Suspect Remembers Wade Michael Page as 'Typical, Sweet Little Boy'
The ex-stepmother of the Wisconsin shooting suspect 40-year-old Wade Michael Page spoke to a Fox News producer about her former stepson. In 2001, Laura Lynn divorced the alleged gunman’s father, and that was the last time she said she heard from Page. Jonathan Hunt reported that Lynn remembers him as a little boy, calling him a “precious, precious child” and a “sweet, little, typical boy.”
The producer then asked Lynn how she thinks this could have happened and if she believed Page had become a monster, to which she replied, “Obviously, he became one.”
An audibly upset and crying Lynn said, “I don’t know, I don’t know what could have happened, what could have changed him like this. I don’t know. My heart goes out to the poor people in that temple, and my prayers are with all of them.”
