Not-So-Super PACs: Check Out These Lesser-Known PACs ... With Even Crazier Names
Super PACs may in fact be the super-power behind many politicians' success at the polls, as they exist as outside groups (political action committees) that can raise and spend unlimited money, as long as there's no coordination with the actual campaigns themselves.
But what once was an avenue of organization pursued by a more select lot is now, thanks to a Supreme Court decision, left open to any average Joe looking to start his or her own.
And, speaking of Joe ... in doing some digging into super PAC outliers, there are the likes of the Joe Six Pac and Bringing Sexy
Pac. Not to be left out is the Slamdunks, Fireworks and Eagles Super PAC -- which promotes the idea that all of our country's woes could be solved through that grand American pastime of ... drinking more beer.
But not to fear - none of them could actually sway the election ... some have raised less than $50 in total.
